Computer-aided design (CAD) tools for linear infrastructure projects will also be presented to support the work of designers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The acquisition of the required knowledge and skills will be achieved through a program of specialized courses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Road Infrastructure (lecture and design project)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Environmental Protection in Transportation Engineering (lecture, design project, and laboratory)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Computer-Aided Design (lecture and laboratory)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>An example scope of diploma theses completed within this profile includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>designs for new or reconstructed sections of local and regional road networks, including bypasses for towns,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>design of road intersections,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>design of large-capacity parking lots with connections to the road network,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>analyses of environmental nuisances in the vicinity of roads and design of solutions to mitigate these nuisances,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>research and forecasts of noise in road surroundings,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>selected research and study-oriented projects, including vehicle traffic studies, analysis of user behavior on various elements of the road network, and traffic safety assessments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure procedures for preparing pavement repairs and reconstructions, including execution technologies, as well as maintenance techniques related to systematic, routine, and seasonal maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The acquisition of the required knowledge and skills will be achieved through a program of specialized courses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pavement Maintenance (lecture and design project)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Modern Road Construction Technologies (lecture and laboratory)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>An example scope of diploma theses completed within During the festival, the members of the Circle proudly represented the Department of Road Construction and Traffic Engineering.\n\nAs part of their presentation, they demonstrated the testing of deformation modulus using a dynamic plate and skid resistance assessment using an English pendulum. Additionally, they showcased samples of mineral-asphalt mixtures prepared for laboratory testing. We were given a tour of all departments, which focus on testing materials such as concrete, asphalt mixtures, soils, and aggregates. The tests conducted by the laboratory ensure the highest quality of roads built for GDDKiA, thanks to comprehensive control at every stage of the investment. Students from six technical universities\u2014Bia\u0142ystok, Gda\u0144sk, Krak\u00f3w, Lublin, Silesia, and Rzesz\u00f3w\u2014will participate in seven workshops prepared by faculty members of these universities and the Development and Implementation Support Department of ORLEN Asfalt Sp. z o.o.
